WU-TANG SUM'12 - SNAPBACKS, CREWNEWCKS AND TEES

With the summer shining bright it's about time to get into those summer threads.  This limited run of Wu-Tang gear produced by Rocksmith is now available at all of our J2 locations.  For the spring, summer collection we've picked out some camo print wu-tang logo crews, wu tang dunk-hi tees and logo snap backs.  For a quick snap of the collection look below and come in store for the full selection.

SUPRA SUM'12 - SKYTOP III "JADE" PACK

Since its inception the Skytop III design has gone through many variations and designs but the “Jade” is definitely one of the most exciting colorways we've seen drop in at our J2 stores. The limited run colorway features a cream colored, waxed twill upper that is beautifully complemented by a black, waxed twill tongue, black molded TPR cage, black heel-pull, and, of course, neon green accents. The upper is built on top of a white rubber outsole and a neon green, EVA midsole. The Skytop III “Jade” is now available at all J2 locations.

UNDEFEATED SPRING '12 - LOGO CREWNECKS, PULLOVER HOODIES AND VARSITY JACKETS

Just in time for the weekend we've got a fresh batch of UDFTD spring pieces from one of our favorite LA streetwear botiques in an extremely limited quantities which will be sold on a first come first serve policy.  We've posted a quick look at a few pieces below, be sure to check in this weekend at any J2 location.

CLAE SPRING '12 - POWELL IN GRAVEL NUBUCK AND MIDNIGHT NAVY LEATHER

As the weather warms up those looking for a lower cut, breathable and equally comfortable shoe will appreciate the finer details of this classic but modernized sneaker.  The Powell features a sophisticated wingtip styling on the front area with perforations all through the toe box and subtle tooth cut lining all around the edges.  Paired with a set of chino's these are definitely one our favorite shoes in the dressy casual category at J2 this season.  For more details see the pics below or come in to any J2 location for a closer look.

SUPRA SPRING '12 - SKYTOP "CRIMSON" PACK

Supra sneakers keep rolling in and we couldn't be more excited at J2 to see the “Crimson” pack featuring a white leather Skytop III, with a white outsole, that shows flashes of brilliant, isolated red accents: red eyelets, red terry tongue lining, and a red EVA midsole make this style really pop.  On top of these limited releases, we have a full range of brighter spring colored Supras in store now.

SUPRA SPRING '12 - VAIDER "MAJESTIC" PACK

The first shoe to drop from the “Majestic” pack at J2 Oakridge Metrotown and Richmond is a Vaider high top with a grey, waxed suede upper. Any shoe with a touch of purple accents is always an instant favorite and this one has just enough to not be overpowering, including a purple terry lining on the inside and a purple crown logo. It also sits on a purple bottom vulcanized sole with white foxing.

SUPRA SPRING '12 - SKYTOP "CROSS" PACK

The one that started it all, the Skytop is now available in a black specially perforrated pattern and dubbed the Skytop “Cross”.  The entire sneaker is enveloped by a unique, black leather upper that features a repeating, perforated cross pattern that is accompanied by black canvas details. The shoe also features a black vulcanized sole with white foxing.  This limited release pack is available at all J2 locations now.

CLAE SPRING '12 - MCQUEEN NAVY SPECKLE CANVAS & GRAVEL CANVAS

With the bulk of spring sneakers steadily flowing in it's easy to get lost in the vast selection and variety of shoes, so we've picked out one of our favorite offerings from Clae this spring to highlight, the McQueen.  We have 2 colorways available this season, the navy speckled canvas and a lighter gravel grey canvas.  Both feature full grain leather heel and eyelet flap, nylon laces, leather lined upper and a custom footbed.  As with all Claes the McQueen features extremely clean lines and finishing but first and foremost is a modern update to the classic dessert boot that you've seen from nearly every brand.  What makes this stand out for us is the rubber sole, 3 seam stiching and leather tab accents which give it a dressy casual update to a classic work boot look. FRED PERRY SPRING '12 - CREWNECKS, POLOS, TEES, JACKETS, SHIRTS, BAGS AND SHOES

Big selection of Fred Perry is now available at all our J2 locations for those looking for clean classic and timeless pieces inspired by the British.  As always with our Fred Perry selection we've picked out slim, tailor like fitting polos plus light sweaters and knits to mix and match.  For those who appreciate subtle color detailing we've also brought in a navy and grey zip-up hoodie which features 2-tone draw strings, cuffs and contrast chest logo.  Below are a few pictures from our collection available in store now.

RELGION SPRING '12 - SCOOP NECK TEES, HOODIES, SWEATERS AND PULLOVERS

Another shipment of select pieces from UK has just hit our shelves at J2 this time at the opposite side of the style spectrum.  As expected the highlights of this collection include the familiar asymetrical zip up hoodies and oversized sweaters which lean more on the edgier, fashion forward look in contrast to Fred Perry.  For some complete styled looks take a peek below and visit any J2 to see our complete selection of Relgion.

BILLIONARE BOYS CLUB SPRING '12 - LOGO TEES, HOODIES, CREWNECKS, ZIPUPS, SWEATS

The partnership of grammy award winning producer Pharell Williams and fashion icon Nigo of Bathin Ape fame has made its way into our collection at J2 this spring.  Designed and originating from Japan, we're excited to have a full selection of lighter spring pieces featuring the classic BBC space logo in limited quantities at each J2 location.

OTW SPRING '12 - NEW ADVOCATES IN BERLIN AT BREAD AND BUTTER

As a big supporter of the fashion element in Vans it's always great to see some of our favorite entertainers and artists join the mix.  Since it's inception 2 years ago we've seen OTW steadily fly off our shelves at J2 and the simple yet mature silhouettes mixed with top notch fabrics continues with this season's collection.  Check out the video filmed in Berlin earlier this season for a few sneak peeks at the Spring collection and snippets of their celebration featuring Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, Chris Kong, Eric Elms and co.  The Spring collection is moving fast but we still have a full selection at all J2 locations.

J2 RICHMOND CENTRE - RE-LOCATION, BIGGER SELECTION, NEWLY RENOVATED

If you missed out on the grand opening of our newly renovated and re-located store then come down and have a first look yourself.  Keeping within the same mould with a twist for all of our stores we've continued with our darker urban decor but the Richmond location is characterized by our high ceilings, garage style blacked out front gate, brushed concrete floors and a sound system that'll blow the roof off.  Certainly the most urban setting of all our locations it now hosts a bigger collection and selection of hand picked pieces.  As always, we're looking forward to seeing everyone at our newest J2 location.

Made to stand up to the demands of the New England climate this Massachusetts based brand has been around since 1975 providing quality outer wear that is rooted in the outdoors.  With the American Heritage and Nautical looks coming back strong again this season Penfield brings it's fashion, function, practicality and duribility into it's Spring collection.  We've brought in a select amount of navy, beige windbreakers and raincoats, light colored button up shirts and a selection of shorts ranging in color from wine red to baby blue.  Come down and see our selection at any J2 location now.

VANS VAULT x TAKA HAYASHI - ENGINEER BOOT & SIERRA TREK HI

Another set of exclusive shoes grace the shelves at J2, this time designed by Taka Hayashi.  Not one to conform to the classic silhouettes and material construction commonly seen with Vans, the Japanese-born conjures up two of his latest silhouettes, the Engineer Boot & Sierra Trek Hi . Consistent his previous releases, the ongoing collaborative sees not only an original model introduction, but also premium upper construction and detailing. Polished leather comprises the entirety of the upper with classic stitch down construction and a crepe outsole serving as the foundation for the mid-top boot/sneaker fusion.  Without further detailed inspection you'd be hard pressed to recognize these two limited edition shoes as Vans.  Available immediately at all J2 stores in limited sizing.

5 PREVIEW SPRING '12 - SHORELINE COLLECTION

Celebrating it's 5th anniversary and the 2nd year since we've added it to our collection, we're excited to have it showing exclusively at our J2 locations now.  As a bit of added inspiration take a look below at the pictures of the current collection.  Inspired by their swedish take on the nautical look, the collection mixes edgy denim pieces with classic navy white nautical colors and stripes.    We've picked out some beautiful sheer dresses and tops for those prepping for the warmer weather and sunshine to come.

UNITED STOCK DRY GOODS '12 - NEW BRAND FIRST COLLECTION

We're always excited to support and bring aboard a new brand focusing on high quality denim and shirting at an accessible price point, especially one based out of Canada.  United stock dry goods uses strictly high grade denim using only raw denim fabric that is 100% cotton selvage made exclusively in Japan.  For quality Japanese denim, great fit and unmatched price point look no further.  The shirting offers the same high quality Japan made fabric with final production coming out of Canada.  Come see the full collection at J2 Oakridge, Metrotown and Richmond in store now.

NUDIE JEANS SPRING '12 - SELVEDGE DARK DENIM, ORGANIC DENIM, SPRING BLUE DENIM AND KHAKIS

This spring Nudie Jeans is continuing their expansion into khaki pants based on their jean fits and we love both the fit and quality of the production so far, so it comes as no surprise that their newly added khaki line is also made by the same suppliers who manufacture their jeans.  We've brought in 2 colorways beige and a light sand in two fits, both the tight and slim plus you'll also see at all J2 Clothing locations a full selection of the always popular indigo raw denim.  The highlight of this denim set we've brought in is the japanese selvedge organic denim in a deep indigo with grey spotting.  Come down in store to see the full collection.

NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW SUPREME - DECONSTRUCT PREMIUM "HAZLENUT"

As one of only a few select shops to carry this release, we've received an even more limited size run on these new fully leather AF1's at all J2 stores now.  This luxury look and feel for this release features premium laces with metal tips, leather inner, upper and outsole complete with gold Nike lace jewels and a leather inprinted insole.  We're excited to both have this in store and also see the expansion of limited release luxury streetwear items from Nike.  This release follows closely inline with the previous leather inspired luxury streetwear Toki's which we saw released late last fall. 

SUPRA SPRING '12 - LIMITED RELEASE "COBALT PACK" & "PEEPS PACK"

The iconic Skytop sometimes looks its best at its simplest: the Skytop receives a simple blue, nylon upper that is constructed on a royal blue vulcanized sole with white foxing. The Society’s striking silhouette is enhanced with a rich, royal blue, nylon upper with white accents. The shoe is built on a royal blue vulcanized sole with white foxing.  And just in time for Easter, the Skytop “Peeps” is bathed in a bright yellow, lightweight, microfiber that’s as soft as a bunny's ear. The entire shoe is yellow with the exception of a white vulcanized sole with white foxing. It’s extremely soft and lightweight. The Peeps Pack and Cobalt Pack are now available at J2 Oakridge, Metrotown and Richmond.

CROOKS & CASTLES x SE BIKES - FIXED GEAR "PK Ripper Fixed"

L.A.'s Crooks & Castles has teamed up with SE Bikes to create a limited edition version of their PK Ripper Fixed Gear. Taking the aesthetics of the classic PK with floval tubing, wish bone chain stays and Landing Gear forks, Crooks & Castles has spiced up the bike under a Hunting Club motif with a Desert Camo frame and Safety Orange accents offset by a white bars, tires, and Crooks “Elite Medusa” embossed seat.  Less than 250 in the U.S. and you can bet even less in Canada let alone Vancouver.  We've got only 1 and it's currently showing at our new J2 Richmond location.

COMUNE SPRING '12 - SHORTS, DENIM, TEES, TOPS, TANKS, LIGHT JACKETS AND SWEATERS

More Californian inspired clothing has arrived at all our J2 locations this time from one of our favorite upcoming brands Comune.  We have a full collection of hand selected pieces and we've pulled 11 coordinated pictures featuring pieces available in store now to hopefully inpsire your outfits for the warmer season coming up!

ADIDAS x JEREMY SCOTT SPRING '12 - JS GORILLA AND JS INSTINCT

The highly anticipted second release of Jeremy Scott sneakers this spring is finally available at all J2 locations now.   While we're entirely sold out of the first shipment of shoes this set of JS Gorllia and JS Instinct won't last long either.  The JS Gorilla follows in line with the last few releases of sneakers featuring cute plush animals and features a giant gorilla's head stitched to the tongue.  Just take a look at the pictures below to get a better idea of the details put into this release.  Together with the JS Gorilla we've also brought in the JS Instinct that features a large padded tongue that spells out ADI on the left and DAS on the right with bold black font.  Be sure to see them in detail at all J2 stores before they're sold out.

DIESEL SPRING '12 - DENIM, SHIRTS, TEES, CARDIGANS, SPRING JACKETS AND MORE

Once again this season we see inspirations of denim shirts and jackets hit the runway paired with chinos in navy, khaki and taupe.  We've brought in a good variety of colored chino's from dark to light and 3 styles of light washed denim.  As always with diesel the fit and quality are unmatched.  To round out our collection we have a mix of fashion knits and tops to complete the look.  We have several of these runway pieces in store now at all J2 stores.  In the mean time take a look at a few of the coodinated outfits from the show for inspiration this spring.

CHEAP MONDAY SPRING '12 - MENS, WOMENS AND FOOTWEAR

DR.DENIM SPRING '12 - DENIM, CHINOS, TEES AND BUTTON UP SHIRTS

If you haven't noticed already we simply can't get enough of the great collections coming out of Sweden, and we're excited to have picked up a full selection of Dr.Denim jeans, chinos and shirts at J2 again this season.  Slim cut chinos in camel, navy and rust plus their classic indigo denim highlight this spring collection.  A full selection of sizes and colors are now stocked at all J2 locations and be sure to take a peek at the lookbook preview below for the styles and colors we've picked up plus some quick coordinating inspriation.

SPRING '12 FIRST SHIP OBEY x CURTIS KULIG COLLAB

Curtis Kulig's "Love Me" collection with Obey now available at all J2 locations in limited quantities.  His work has been featured in several gallery shows and can be found in his prints and canvases, but also amongst the street corners and rooftops of New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Tokyo.  Featured below are a few signature pieces from the collection and a short film featuring Kulig.  Also coming with this collection is our first ship of early spring goods.  We're excited to show our latest selection of light spring jackets, shorts, windbreakers, snapbacks and varsity jackets all in store now. 

JEREMY SCOTT x ADIDAS SPR' 12 - EARLY PREVIEW JS WINGS DENIM, JS LEOPARD

The anticipation for the first set of Spring 2012 Jeremy Scott sneakers is rapidly building up and to relieve some of that tension we've put up a small preview of the two styles we'll be receiving later this week and a short behind the scenes video of the upcoming Spring 2012 JS colleciton.  The JS Leopard features a full leopard fur outter, fur lined adidas stripes and fur tail, while the JS Denim features a heavy weight washed denim outer, contrast orange stitching and a semi transparent sole.  As with all Jeremy Scott Adidas releases, they will only be available in very limited quantities at each J2 location.  For additional details or information contact our Oakridge, Metrotown or Richmond stores.

NIKE SPRING '12 - DUNK HI CLASSIC COLLECTION IN ROYAL BLUE AND SAFETY ORANGE

Another throwback release from Nike in 2012 brings us back to the classic colorways in simple but clean colorblocking.  These first early spring releases in a sharp orange and deep royal blue are small taste of more timeless favorites to be released through out the year at J2.  We've just released these in store starting Feburary 1st at all J2 locations.  Be sure to come down for a closer look at Oakridge, Metrotown or Richmond.

WESC HOLIDAY '11 - NEW FOOTWEAR FIRST COLLECTION

Just before the holidays Nike drops in a super exclusive set of premium leather sneakers which we've got a limited size run on.  The entire set takes on a more fashion oriented route using premium upper leather, leather lining and leather mid sole.  The Aina Chukka features weaved leather and chunkier contruction while the Toki and Hachi show a sleeker clean look both with perforated Nike logos.  We will be releasing these on December 16th at all our J2 locations.

SABIT NYC FALL/WINTER '11 - PUFFY VESTS, CARDIGANS, VARSITY JACKETS, BEANIES AND SCARVES

We've picked up some winter gear from an upcoming japanese brand based out of NYC and heavily influenced by japanese street wear.  Already spotted on some big hip hop artists like Chris Brown, E-40 and Lil Wayne the highlight of this collection is the limited run collaborative varsity jacket with Gommi Arcade.  The jacket features Sabit and Gommi Arcade logo patches and comes in both a grey and black two tone colorway.  Available at all our J2 stores starting today.

HUNDREDS x DIAMOND SUPPLY CO. HOLIDAY '11 - FOREVER SUMMER COLLABORATION

Two heavy hitting street wear lines come together for this special collection of tees and caps featuring co-branded designs on each item.  The Forever Summer collection features an all-over hawaiian print filling out both the adam bomb logo tee and the diamond supply logo tee plus the underside brim of the snap back cap.  For more details check out the pictures below or come down to any store while quantities last.  Available at J2 Oakridge, Richmond and Metrotown locations.

Stussy and penfield have teammed up again for another special winter capsule collection of outerwear.  We've picked out the full down feather Outback Vest in both black and grey for our winter collection at J2 and each color will be available in very limited quantities at all J2 locations starting today.  The Stussy "double S" logo is branded on the back right shoulder and each vest features a pinstripe white/blue lining.  Come down to any J2 store to see the vests in full detail.

SUPRA HOLIDAY '11 - LIMITED WET PACK, TRILL PACK AND HOT PACK

Good things come in bunches and we've received 3 limited supra packs in store today.  The first and staff favorite is the Wet pack which comes in grey with purple detailing.  This pack is sure to outlast the wet cold winter and features neoprene TUF uppers, the same material wetsuits are made from.  Made to lock in heat and keep you dry.  The second pack we've picked up is the Hot collection featuring TUF canvas and fire red outter with yellow detailing which is sure to brighten up your outfit.  The TUF canvas wicks away the water and is 3 times as durable as your regular canvas.  And finally the last pack we have is the Trill pack featuring durable black waxed-twill giving a unique black sheen and texture.  This set is all black outter with red inner lining and detailing.  The full collection is available at all J2 stores starting today.  Take a look at the pictures below and come in store to take a closer look.  These won't be around long.

Rocksmith, one of our favorite street wear brands has finally shipped it's fall goods.  Founded by japanese hip hop DJ Masterkey Rocksmith every collection is always full of golden hip hop references and this set is no exception.  We've selected some key pieces which you can see in the pictures below.  Be sure to come by any J2 store for the entire selection.

GENERIC SURPLUS FALL '11 - WING TIP, DURY, WORK BOOT AND MORE

Huge shipement of new Generic Surplus arrived at all of our J2 locations today.  In this batch we've restocked on the previously sold Dury and Borstal styles and we've brought in some new fall pieces.  The first of these new models is the Wing Tip, a casual but dressy low cut sneaker highlighted by a wing tip patern and a pointed toe silhouette.  Also, anyone who is looking for a more rugged sneaker will like hybrid Work Boot which fuses sneaker and boot into one.  Be sure to see the full color range at any J2 store now.

ADIDAS JEREMY SCOTT x 2NE1 - COLLABORATIVE COLLECTION FEATURING JS COLLAGE AND JS WINGS 2.0

As always the Jeremy Scott collection is both exclusive and very limited in quantities.  We've brought in these special Jeremy Scott sneakers designed, inpired and worn by 2NE1 for our holiday collection.  The all white JS WINGS 2.0 feature a shiny white satin outer, while the JS COLLAGE features cow print, patent yellow wings, and multi colored leather outsole.  If you're looking for that wild style attention be sure to come down to either J2 Oakridge, Metrotown or Richmond to see the collection when they drop Dec. 1st.  With 2NE1 backing these releases, they're sure to sell out even faster. 

OBEY HOLDAY '11 - 2-TONE VARSITY JACKETS NAVY AND BURGANDY

Another full shipment of these jackets are available in store immediately.  A new colorway for their always popular winter varsity jacket, this style sold out almost instantly.  It comes in two of our favorite colorways at J2 this season, burgandy and navy.  The good news is that we've brought in some restocks which are available at each J2 store starting today.  These won't be around a third time, come down in-store or call in before they're sold out again.

NATIVE SHOES HOLIDAY '11 - NEW 2-TONE COLORWAYS IN FITZSIMMONS BOOTS AND JIMMY BOOTS

It's been a minute since we've got these brand new updated colors for the award winning Fitzsimmons boot for this holiday season.  This collection is first set of Native boots that feature colored outsoles with a black upper contrast to really make the neon shades pop. VANS VAULT FW'11 - 6 NEW STYLES IN STORE INCLUDING THE LATEST TAKA HAYASHI SK8-HI

We've just received our second fall shipment of Vans Vault, their premium line of shoes which use luxury materials and designs you won't see in the regular Vans line up.  These exclusive shoes will be availble in very small quantities at each J2 location starting today.  The first set is a re-worked Sk-8 designed by Taka Hayashi and features premium leather siding, leather patched sole, custom leather lace hoops and matching leather laces.  We've also picked up 2 sets of wintery wool outter sneakers which come in both grey and navy blue in a chukka-mid and era-low.
